Asking questions is how we uncover truths we did not know before.
Don’t be afraid to ask tough questions just because you are afraid of the negative response it will bring from people who don’t understand the importance of asking questions.

Besides Facebook and Twitter, there are way too many social media networks. There are also the ones that started out as photo sharing sites … Trying to maintain a active presence on all of them is too much work. Which are the sites that you think are the most important for a comedian to use, in order of importance?
I have a web site that I haven’t finished because I am not good at using a computer for anything beyond sending e-mail.
I think it depends on the audience you are trying to reach. My order is Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Linkedin.
THANK YOU … at this point I am trying to build a following and I’m not certain who I should be targeting as my audience. Your reply was helpful and I am going to investigate the last two names on your list.
I know you asked for social media….but one that people over look is YOUTUBE…..and if used correctly the major 3 can really help you get attention. First and for most Record and upload to Youtube! Then post them on Facebook and Twitter! I just saw you for my first time at The Side Show….I’m already looking for more on YOUTUBE. You’ve been at this for 20 years I hear. If you have some material you can upload to your youtube. THE MINUTE is your channel….the average user wont find you. A suggestion would be to make a second account and Name it say….Kirk Nolan Comedy. You can Link the 2 simply with annotations and in the description you can add a link as well! To help get your fan base on Youtube over…Simply make a video talking only about the new SECOND channel where you will have some of your Stand Up……and visa versa. Make a video on the Stand Up channel about The Minute…so people can add BOTH pages! But on both….ALWAYS share your videos FROM youtube to Facebook and Twitter….and encourage people to follow your channels Bur even if they don’t…but they click the link you shared from youtube, you get your views up! Opposed to just uploading it to Facebook and Twitter separately. I hope that makes sense to you. If not..hit me up on Facebook..I’ll be glad to help explain it more. Sending a friend request now!
Thank you. Those are some good suggestions.
