I’m enjoying researching and digging into the artistic work of Lincoln Townley. The paintings that he creates really speak to my own soul. This is a small piece I created to tell a story about Lincoln’s paintings. This is something I am seeing that perhaps others cannot see, the fact that there is a story in all the layers of oil. I see it because I feel the work he creates and because I feel it this makes me to be able to tell form a story about it in way others can not. The artistry of storytelling comes from the same place as all other art forms. You have to feel and know the story and your subject before you can create the material that speaks to the world. These painting speak to me and empower me in a way I have never had art do for me before.
